Things You’d Rather Do Than Smoking

Smoking is an enjoyable habit for many people. However, if you peep into the smoker life up close, you will notice how risky is such a life. But perhaps, even when there is a desire to quit on smoking, breaking away may not be that super easy thing to do. If you are one of them, this article is for you.

1. DRINK A LOT OF WATER

Smoking is just like any other addiction any person can experience and it may just be the result of the desire to experience something rare or strange. However, if you begin with some more habits, you may not be totally think about smoking. One good habit to form is drinking water. It will keep your blood vessels oxygenated, so it will make you active.

2. MAKE AND EAT GREEN SNACKS

One thing bad about smoking is that it will dim away your sense for other smells and tastes due to being occupied by tobacco smell. If you have the desire to quit on smoking and regain your life, then you can do some acts that will counteract what smoking does just like eating good snacks. Search online for healthy snacks that are easy to make and get started with them. Such a habit is healthy and it will take your mind away from smoking.

3. EXERCISE
Exercising is definitely a much better thing to do than smoking. If you begin with it, you are likely to find joy in it that you will not think about smoking a lot of times. Even more, exercising makes you remove the bad substances that are present inside your body. Dirt and waste come out in the form of sweat.

4. TRAIN A DOG

So many people feel so trying hard to quit on the bad habit of smoking. However, if you try to look around, you know that you will be able to find some other things that are much better to do than smoking and could take away your fondness from it. A good example for that is training a dog. When you train a dog, you will devote much of your time for it. And with each time that you train, you are likely to get to yourself the feeling like you want to do it always.

5. CONSIDER VAPING

To give up on smoking abruptly can cause some bad effects on the body. So for the mean time, you may want to switch on vaping. With it, you will still be consuming nicotine but not in the amount you do not want.
